The Salón del Vino y la Aceituna de Extremadura was born in 2000 covering an empty hole in the celebration of fairs in the region. Several initiatives arose, being created for it the Fair Institution Tierra de Barros -INFETIBA, formed by experts in the matter in the environments required for such an end: the wine sector and olive harvester, and the assembly of fairs, congresses, etc.

The Salón is configured to welcome several business lines and promotion:
° traditional fair
° forum of national and international debate
° center of export-import business
° diffusion at all the levels of the product

We have for it the invaluable help of our patrons and collaborators as Diputación de Badajoz, Junta de Extremadura, Cámara de Comercio, Caja Rural de Almendralejo, City council of Almendralejo, Infetiba, Feder, and Feval, without which this fair would not be possible.

Being located in a place of easy access and near to communication roads like they are the railcar or the national one 630, the Salón del Vino y la Aceituna de Extremadura puts to disposition of participant exhibition areas and presentation for the stands housing.

The organization has common areas in which can be developed all type of activities, such as you taste, presentations, or parallel activities.
